Some of my best learning happens outside the classroom—in rooms full of people asking hard questions and sharing what they've figured out along the way.
At the Greenwood ASCEND Conference in Chicago, I connected with students interning at top financial firms and got real talk about breaking down barriers in finance. The FinTech session was an eye-opener, showing me how data science is being used to solve actual problems in the industry. Greenwood's mission—making finance accessible to everyone—really resonated with me.
The Goldman Sachs Emerging Leaders Series took me to Salt Lake City for two days of workshops on risk management and financial strategy. Between mountain views and conversations with professionals from across the country, I learned how to tell better stories with data and work across teams to turn analysis into action.
These experiences remind me why I love this work: it's about the people behind the numbers and the impact we can create together.
